HML Back-Office is rebranding to B-hive Property Solutions

HML Back-Office services (including our Client Finance, Central Operations, Company Secretarial and Health & Safety departments) will rebrand on the 4th April* to

B-hive Property Solutions

This is exciting news as this simple change in name will significantly improve the visibility between our core property management services and our associated essential services offerings. 

In turn this will assist us as we introduce customer portals for each of our developments and ensure that these are consistent across the multiple brands within our Group. Our new customer portals are going to enhance communication, improve access to information and create greater efficiencies in our service delivery, and more will follow on this in due course.

What happens next?

You should expect very little change. A small, albeit noticeable change, is the email addresses for communications issued by our Back-Office teams, which will now come from B-hive Property Solutions instead of HML Group. B-hive Property Solutions will merely be a trading style of HML, and therefore there will be no material change to the day-to-day service; processes, team members and banking arrangements will remain as they are. 

From your perspective, there is nothing you need to do except keep an eye out in your inbox for the new name. You can continue to utilise existing email addresses such as the Accounts@hmlgroup.com email address if you wish, as this will simply redirect internally to the new B-hive address. The same applies for any direct contacts you may have in the Back-Office teams.

This change only applies to staff members sitting in the Back-Office and will not apply to your front-line Property Manager or local office team, who will all continue to have a HML Group email address.

We anticipate that as we move to launch our exciting new customer portals, that this internal change will help improve visibility between the departments and enable us to provide enhanced levels of customer service and support to all our customers.

What is B-hive Property Solutions?

It is simply the new collective name for the Back-Office teams, such as Client Finance, Central Operations, Company Secretarial, Health & Safety and Legal.

Is B-hive Property Solutions a new company?

No, it is simply a trading style/brand of HML PM Ltd.

When does the rebrand go live?

Monday 4th April

Why the rebrand?

We have taken this decision to improve the visibility between our core property management services and the associated services we offer to complement our property management offering.

What are the benefits to customers?

It will assist us with introducing customer portals for each of our developments and ensure that these are consistent across the multiple brands within our Group. It is anticipated in time that these customer portals will improve communication, improve access to information and create greater efficiencies in our service delivery.

What will change?

Very little; B-hive Property Solutions will merely be a trading style of HML, therefore there will be no material change to the day-to-day services; processes, team members and banking arrangements will remain very much as they are.

The one thing that will change is the email addresses for communications issued by our Back-Office teams, which instead of coming from a HML Group email address will instead come from a B-hive Property Solutions email sign off.

Can I continue to email the HML Group email addresses?

Yes, as a customer, you can continue to utilise existing email addresses such as the Accounts@hmlgroup.com email address if you wish, as this will simply forward on to the new B-hive address, the same goes for direct contacts you may have in the Back-Office teams.

Will my Property Manager’s email address change?

No, the change only applies to those staff members sitting in the Back-Office teams, therefore this change will not apply to your front-line Property Manager or local office team, who will all continue to have a HML Group email address.

Will there be any change to where I need to make service charge payments?

No, the bank accounts will remain the same at this time and remain named “HML PM” as the account name is linked to the name of the legal entity, which is still HML PM Ltd.

How will this impact documents being sent out to customers?

Documents issued to customers will be branded with the primary managing agent’s brand “powered by B-hive Property Solutions”. Example showing HML PM below:

Will the people I deal with in Client Finance and Essential Services change?

No, the people you deal with in those departments will remain the same and will not be impacted by the rebranding.
